It's the perfect time to relax and read.

Summer is my favorite time to read! I can read when I want, where I want and what I want!

Whether you are at home, the beach or traveling, having a good book for company is a must. It is a great way to delve into the series you have been reading, try an new genre or author and dig into a favorite or new topics.

On this page I am sharing a few books that you might be interested in trying.

You will find a Suggested Reading List and links to great websites that help connect kids to books.

So start exploring! You might just find your next "best book ever"!

30 Book Summer

Every summer I challenge myself to read a selection of books. Some years, it is to read more of a genre, finish a series or all of a favorite author's books. This year I am just challenging myself to READ, READ and READ some more. I have challenged myself to a 30 BOOK SUMMER.

As I finish reading, I will be adding covers of the books below. Check back over the summer and watch my progress.

I would love for you to read along too! Pick any or all of the below books, read and then share your thoughts about them when your return to school in September. Feel free to try one of the books I read in previous summers too!
